The Government Medical College, Tonk, is a new medical college in Tonk, Rajasthan, established to serve the state’s growing medical education network and started its first academic session in 2025-26 with more than 100 MBBS seats. Built under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model, the college has completed its infrastructure, including the hospital and student hostels, and meets National Medical Commission (NMC) norms

Eligibility criteria 

  • The candidate must have cleared the NEET-UG exam, meeting the minimum percentile requirements.
  • Must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Minimum age should be 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.
  • The maximum age for the General category is typically up to 25 years

Admission Process

  • Candidates opting for the All India Quota (AIQ) will register separately on the MCC website for their counselling process.

  • Seats are allotted based on the NEET rank, the candidate’s category, and the choices filled during counselling.
