Government Medical College, Kannur (also known as GMC Kannur or Pariyaram Medical College) is one of Kerala’s well-established medical institutions. Initially started as a cooperative medical college, it was later taken over by the government. Affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), it offers MBBS, MD, MS, and various super-specialty courses. The college is known for its excellent medical education, research facilities, and a well-equipped teaching hospital that serves patients across North Kerala.
