Prior to the post-exam answer key being published, a provisional answer key version was issued to the public on April 14, 2025, and candidates were permitted to dispute any incorrectness to the answers or questions until April 16.

If a candidate’s objection holds, the answer key will be modified accordingly and shall have uniform application across all students. However, no communications shall be sent to students regarding the status of their objection, and the improved answer key will be treated as final.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 in various exam centers in India and in fifteen cities abroad. The examination will be held in April 2025. Candidates are to appear for different subjects in various shifts. JEE Mains 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be justified for the JEE main exam, class 12 candidates must complete or appear in physics, chemistry, and mathematics as core subjects.
In Class 12 there is no age limit or minimum grade for appearing in the exam, but candidates can try in Class 12 for three years.
