MHT CET exam is a state level entrance examination which stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. This examination is conducted to select the candidates for admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses at various colleges across Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.
The examination consists of three papers. Paper 1 is based on questions from Mathematics, Paper 2 consists of questions based on Physics and Chemistry and Paper 3 is based on the questions based on Biology. For Maharashtra State Candidates
The candidate must have passed class 12th /appearing in class 12 in 2023
The Candidate must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one subject among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies in class 12.
The candidate must score at least 45% aggregate marks in class 12.
The candidates belonging from reserved categories must score at least 40% of aggregate marks in class 12%.
For Non-Maharashtra Candidates
The candidates who do not belong to Maharashtra can also appear for MHT CET . The candidate may or may not appear for MHT CET exam as their JEE Mains score will be preferred over MHT CET scores for admissions to BE/B.Tech. The reservation policy will not be applicable to the candidates not belonging Maharashtra.
OCI/PIO/NRI Candidates
The OCI/PIO/NRI candidates are exempted from appearing for MHT CET exam . They can apply for admissions that are based on class 12th marks. For such candidates the counseling is held separately after the MHT CET .

Eligibility Criteria at Karnataka Examination Authority
● The candidates should have passed the NEET 2024 exam.
● Only citizens of India will be eligible for all types of seats except for NRI quota seats.
● The students should have completed their 10+2 in PCB with English as a mandatory subject. The minimum percentage required of the general candidates is 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in the case of SC/ST, the percentage required is 40%.
● A candidate must have completed a minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year for admission.
● The mother tongue of applicants must be Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava. The aspirants who do not know the above languages have to pass the language test, which is conducted by KEA.
● Applicants are required to fulfill the minimum NEET 2024 cutoff percentile.
Prospectus for State quota admission in MBBS and BDS courses will be issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. Its website is https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ and the candidates have to fill out the registration form there.
After the registration, the list of registered candidates will be issued by KEA. After this, the schedule for document verification will be issued by Karnataka Examination Authority. For this, the documents will have to be verified at Bangalore or any other center. After the document verification, the list of verified candidates will be released.
After the verification of documents, the candidates will be given an application number and password, from which they can fill in the choice. The choice filled is called option entry.
There are no Security fees that will be deposited in any round at the Karnataka Examination Authority.
First Round of Counseling
Seat allotment of the first phase is done online by KEA. If a candidate has been allocated a seat in the round then you have to deposit a one-year fee online (RTGS/NEFT), after that, you can fill out a choice again to upgrade this seat in the second round and if gets upgraded, then you do not need to deposit the fee again, it will be adjusted.
If the seat is allotted in the first round and you are not able to deposit the fee, then you are eligible for the second round, but you will not get the choice you filled in the second round above the seat allotment. You can fill in the choice below.
In the first round, the candidates who get a seat allotted will have to give the following options, which is called Choice Entry:-
Choice No. 01 – If you are satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and do not want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose Choice No. 01 to be filled. In this, you have to deposit one-year fee online (RTGS / NEFT). After making this choice, you cannot participate in the next rounds.
Choice No. 02– If you want to upgrade the allotted seat in the first round, then you have to choose Choice No. 02 to be filled. In this, you have to deposit one one-year fee online (RTGS / NEFT) and then you can participate in the second round. If your seat gets upgraded, then you do not need to deposit the fee again, it will be adjusted. In case of no seat upgrade, the previous seat will remain the same.
Choice No. 03 – If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose Choice No. 03 to be filled. You do not need to deposit fees in this round. After making this choice, you can participate in the second round. All choices filled in the first round will be available for the second round, but you will not get the allotted seat of the first round.
Choice No. 04 – If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and do not want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose option no. 04 to be filled. After this, you will be out of further counseling.
Second Round of counseling
The candidates who had not registered for the first round, had the registration in the second round for those candidates. Registration was not opened again in the second round at the Karnataka Examination Authority.
All the candidates have to modify and delete the choice again of the first round, if you do not fill the choice again, then the choice filled in the first round will be valid. Seat allotment happens online in the second round also.
If a candidate has been allocated a seat in the second round then you have to deposit a one-year fee online (RTGS/NEFT) go to the KEA office in Bangalore and submit original documents. An allotment letter will be received from the KEA office in Bangalore and receipt of original documents submitted. You have to take admission by submitting all this in the allotted college.
Mop-up round of counseling
Candidates who have not got a seat allotment in the first round and the second rounds at the Karnataka Examination Authority are eligible for it. Those who have been allotted seats in the first round and second round are not eligible for this round. Candidates who have not registered earlier can do fresh registration. The mop-up round is offline (physical), that is, the candidate has to be present at the Karnataka Examination Authority. After this, admission is given to the vacant seat according to the merit and the candidate’s choice. DD of One-year fee is required at the time of the counseling
Stray vacancy round of counseling
Even after the mop-up round, some seats remain vacant of other quotas and NRI quotas, they are filled by the medical college concerned at the Karnataka Examination Authority. A 10-time list is issued by KEA. This list is the name of those candidates, who have not got any seat yet. According to the same list, admission is given to the vacant seat according to the Merit.

How do you take admission for the state quota?
The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Itanagar will get the online application form link for MBBS and BDS admission after the result of NEET 2024. The option of applying online will be available. After filling out the online form on the website www.apdhte.nic.in, submit it. Candidates must qualify for the NEET exam and state-level counseling to seek Arunachal Pradesh MBBS admission will be done based on the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling.
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board.
They must have pursued the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
All students are required to take the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). In all MBBS, Dental and AYUSH courses, there is strictly no admission without passing NEET test.
The minimum qualifying marks in the NEET should be obtained as per the marks prescribed by the authorities for candidates belonging to particular categories such as General, SC/ST/OBC, etc.
Admission under the Management Quota in Private Medical, Dental, and AYUSH colleges is also open to candidates of other states who are not domiciled in West Bengal.
Candidates should have an age of 17 years or above at the time of admission. The upper age limit will follow the NEET guidelines.

Kearala Counseling Authority

In Kerala State, the Commission for Entrance Examination (CEE) provides admission in various courses by conducting an entrance exam and counseling, but admission in MBBS, BDS, and Ayurveda courses is given on NEET score, so admission to these courses is done by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination & Research only by counseling.
It is given that the registration has been completed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination & Research for the entrance exam of the rest of the courses. Registration has also been completed for admission in MBBS, BDS, and Ayurveda courses. If the candidate wants to be admitted in Kerala state, then they must register for the Commissioner for Entrance Examination & Research for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH courses. The admission prospectus will also be released by the authorities, and they must keep an eye on the website that is https://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/.
After the results of NEET 2024, Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) which is authorized by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination & Research for medical admission will release the list of registered candidates for state quota admission in MBBS, BDS, and Ayurveda courses. Admission is given by KEAM by conducting the first round, second round counseling, and mop-up round counseling online mode.
First round of counseling
The first phase of seat allotment will be in online mode and will be conducted by KEA according to the given schedule on the website. The choices have to be filled by the candidates, after which seats will be allotted. If a candidate has been allotted a seat in the first round, then you have to join the allotted seat, and a one-year fee will have to be deposited in CEE after getting allotted to a Government College.
If the candidate wants to upgrade their seats then they have to fill the choices again and if they get their seats upgraded in the second round then they have to take admission on the allotted seats of the second round. If a candidate has been allotted a seat in the first round and did not take admission on it, then they are not eligible for the next round of counseling as the first round is not a free exit round.
Second round of counseling
In the second round of counseling fresh registrations will not be opened. All the candidates have to fill their choices again, if they do not fill the choices again then their choices from the first round will be considered. This round is also conducted in online mode. If the candidate has been allotted a seat in the second round of counseling then they are to deposit one one-year fee through an online mode of payment and go to the medical college and take admission. The seat upgrade option will be available for the candidates.
Mop up round of counseling
This round of counseling is conducted to fill the vacant seats after the first and second rounds of counseling. The candidates who did not get any seat allotted in the first and second rounds of counseling are eligible. Those candidates who have been allotted seats but not Joined in the first round and second round are not eligible for this round. Those candidates who have been allotted seats and Joined in the first round and second round are eligible for upgradation in this round. The mop-up round is conducted in online mode. After this, admission is given to the vacant seat according to the merit and candidate’s choice.
