Step 4: Fee Payment
Once you accept the allotted seat, the final step in the admission process is fee payment. The fee structure varies between government and private medical colleges. Government colleges have a much lower fee compared to private institutions.

Private Medical Colleges: For management quota seats in private colleges, the fee is higher, ranging from ₹12 Lakhs to ₹20 Lakhs per year.
Ensure that you pay the annual tuition fee before the deadline to confirm your admission. In addition to the tuition fee, there may be other charges such as hostel fees, mess charges, and examination fees.
Step 5: Commencement of Classes
Once you complete the admission formalities and fee payment, you will be officially enrolled in the MBBS course. The classes for MBBS typically start in August/September, depending on the college.
Key Points to Remember:
NEET is mandatory: No student can get admission to MBBS in Kerala without qualifying NEET.
State quota seats are highly competitive, so securing a good NEET rank is crucial.
Management quota seats are available in private colleges, but the fees are much higher than state quota seats.
Merit-based counseling: Your chances of getting a seat depend on your NEET score and rank. The better your score, the higher your chances of getting into a good medical college.
Document submission: Make sure to have all the required documents ready for verification to avoid any delays in the admission process.
