    Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, is a prominent tertiary government medical institution. Under the leadership of Dr. S.C. Tiwari, it embarked on its journey by admitting the inaugural batch of M.B.B.S. students in 2009. As the only primary center for medical education in the Bundelkhand region, BMC not only facilitates the learning of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) but also provides nursing and para-medical courses.

    Affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University since 2014 and recognized by the Medical Council of India, the college currently offers post-graduate courses (MD/MS) across 11 specializations. Transitioning from affiliation with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, in 2013, the college\’s student selection process is based on merit determined by the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Notably, BMC, equipped with a capacity of 750 beds, is dedicated to advancing medical education and delivering the best healthcare services to the people of the MP, Bundelkhand region.

    Admission

    To get admission, the student must fulfill all the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to opt for. For admission to the MBBS course, the candidate must clear the NEET UG exam, after this, the candidate should participate in the counseling process and based on the merit of the candidate a seat will be allotted.

    Documents Required

    • For MBBS admission, students must have their 10th and 12th-grade certificates.
    • At the time of MBBS admission, a birth certificate is necessary.
    • Submit identification documents such as a nationality certificate, a passport, or an Aadhaar card.
    • Students should bring ten current passport-size (3x4cm) white-background pictures.
    • NEET scores are required for MBBS admission.
    • For admission to a medicine course, each candidate must submit a medical fitness certificate.
    • Provision Certificate
    • Submit a caste certificate to receive a 10% discount at the time of admission.
    • During the admissions process, a character certificate should be submitted.
