This field has been my dream since childhood, as I always aspired to pursue a career here and clear the UPSC exams. The job opportunities here are plentiful, with numerous companies from across the country visiting the campus. This provides brilliant students with excellent chances to secure jobs, including opportunities near their hometowns due to the presence of nearby companies. While no companies have visited during my time here, it is anticipated that many will in the near future. The faculty is excellent, and the academic standards are commendable. The campus atmosphere is conducive to learning, with teachers being highly supportive and approachable. The hostel facilities are impressive, with clean rooms and a dedicated warden who ensures smooth management. While the hostel food could be improved in terms of taste, the housekeeping staff works diligently to maintain cleanliness and provide a comfortable living environment. Sports and extracurricular activities are well-organized, making campus life vibrant. The university hosts grand sports events like cricket, football, basketball, and more, encouraging students to participate in a wide range of activities. Sports Day was particularly enjoyable, with students actively competing and contributing to the lively atmosphere. Overall, this university provides an excellent blend of academic, extracurricular, and personal development opportunities.

The faculty is highly experienced, and many of them have earned their master’s degrees from top institutions like the IITs. Placements: Our university provides decent on-campus placements every year. Students in the MBA course get both placements and internship opportunities. The average package offered is between 4-5 LPA. College placements cell has tied up with various companies such as Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc. for the placements.

Infrastructure: Sam Global University has a good infrastructure for the MBA course. College classrooms are big and air-conditioned. Labs are having proper facilities for the students. Life at IIFM as a PGDSM Student.

Placements: All students were placed in the 21-23 batch. Total strength being 18. However there was no support from the institute. Rather the institute puts roadblocks in the placement process of some students. The Placement Committee is headed by the most competent professor in the institute. The students are asked to run the Student Placement Committee but autonomy is snatched when they are unable to promote FM branch at the expenses of some opportunities. The highest package offered was 21LPA (3 years xp in relevant field). The lowest was 7LPA (Fresher). The average was 14.2LPA. Median 12LPA. However, replication of this performance by any other batch is highly doubtful due to the absurd increase in batch size in a short period of time with disregard for market demand. Infrastructure: Everything this great except the Wi-Fi. It is pathetic. Classrooms are naturally well lit and beautiful. The library is well stocked The mess has all things necessary including a lawn to laze around if you have time to spare after a meal. The canteen is pretty useless. But there is a Sanchi Parlour which has most things that one would need to save off hunger. It is run by Chandu Bhaiyya, of the best person you will meet on campus.

Faculty: Professors are great. Relevant but lacks in practical aspect/ application based teaching. Except for the Industrial visit and some field visits, the course is majorly theory based. However, there is a strong focus on research. Almost everyone passes. The grading is relatively. Hence, bigger batch sizes mean easier scoring.

Other: The campus is lovely. Doubt there are any MBA campuses that can give you a similar experience. The faculty is great if you are self motivated. Practical application of the courses learnt. Clean on the analytical and scientific aspects of managing sustainability in terms of control and levers for different industries.

Review

I will start with the admission procedure, for MBA in MANIT, you will be required to submit a valid CAT Score card with other educational documents of course. Irrespective of the percentile scored in CAT no matter what you have scored they will consider you until they have seats left in their old class rooms. Now something about the studies, few teachers are very professional and have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects and rest all will fool you with their experience. You have to study hard for good grades but if you just want to pass they will give you 2 to 3 chances of re-exams in which they will tell what you questions they will ask because they cannot throw any failure student out. For students with reservations they will have facilities of scholarships means fees refunds. Wi-Fi, projector, library, canteen and such other facilities are good enough means you can survive. They have SBI as there internship provider and they only choose 4-6 people in every batch. There are two conditions for selection either your educational background is good enough or you have made good relations with the teachers, seniors and most importantly people handling T&P Coordination jobs. No placement facility is provided from the college. Few stupid teachers will fool you that they can ensure your placement but they are struggling with their own jobs. As a bad carpenter blames his tools they will either blame you for not putting enough efforts in T&P Coordination or play a blame game with other teachers in the department. Students doing other courses from same college will have ample of opportunities but not particularly for this department. They will fool you with the pictures of few students who accidently got selected once in Coal India. Vardman yarns is the only company that keeps on coming every year and hire 3-5 people for the sake. Package will be 20k per month. Fees is less and the environment is quite good and your two years will pass quickly, writing tests and exams which will give you knowledge but no industry experience and no placements will make you feel a loser at the end. Few students with good relations with teachers or the people handling T&P Coordination might get few bullshit opportunities to feel proud on, rest all will only feel proud on having a degree from NIT.

Everything is good in our college.

Placements: I am a student of 2019 MBA batch. Around 75% of the students easily got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered in our college is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Companies which visit here to offer placements for MBA department are TCS, HDFC, PwC, Jaro, Axiom, etc. Companies which visit here to offer placements for engineering are Google, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Axtria, etc. All students easily got internships, and companies which offer internships are Aditya Birla, Cadbury, Lenovo, PwC, etc. Roles offered are financial analyst, business analyst, customer relations, SDE, etc. Our college is good for engineering compared to the MBA.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good here such as Wi-Fi, library, sports complex, gym, swimming pool, cafeteria and mess. There are moderate medical facilities, along with an ambulance. Every type of lab is available for engineering courses such as chemistry lab, computer science lab and VLSI lab. There are also highly air-conditioned classrooms, entrepreneur cell, etc.

Faculty: Every faculty member in our college is well qualified, more experienced and supportive in nature. Their teaching skills are excellent. The course curriculum is good in time and makes students ready for the corporate world. After that, everything depends on students how to use all facilities.

Other: Many events and fests are organised in a year, and the ROI of this college is excellent.
