    • You are not your rank. This system is tough. It tests scores, not your kindness, intelligence, or courage. Don’t let a number shrink your sense of self-worth.
    • Keep your documents ready. Small mistakes at the final stage can cost you the seat you deserve.
    • Stay informed. Use official websites. Don’t fall for hearsay and panic.

    FAQs

Not yet. This is just the start. Admission will depend on counselling rounds, document verification, and your eligibility.

No. Not at all. There are courses with relaxed cut-offs. And if you’re from a reserved category, you may still qualify. Explore. Ask. Don’t give up based on one list.

A Simplified Guide to Madhya Pradesh’s Key Education Schemes (2025–26)

Madhya Pradesh’s Key Education Schemes: For many students across Madhya Pradesh, education is not just about getting a degree—it’s about rewriting their future. But talent alone isn’t always enough. Financial limitations often stand in the way. That’s why the state government continues to offer well-structured scholarship schemes, ensuring that students don’t have to choose between academic potential and economic pressure.

NEET UG 2025 Answer Key Released

    Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY)

For students who have consistently performed well in academics.

This scheme supports meritorious students from General, OBC, SC, and ST categories who’ve scored:

    • At least 70% in Class 12 (MP Board) or 85% (CBSE/ICSE)
    • Family income must be below ₹6 lakh/year

It covers full tuition fees for professional undergraduate courses like engineering, medicine, law, and management at government and select private colleges.

Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Shiksha Protsahan) Yojana

For the children of unorganised sector workers.

Higher education can feel out of reach when daily survival is the priority. This scheme aims to change that by supporting students whose parents are registered with the Unorganised Workers Welfare Board.

    Eligibility includes:

    • Selection through competitive exams like NEET, JEE, CLAT, etc.
    • Admission to recognised institutions
    • Full fee coverage for professional courses

Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe (ST) Students

Education beyond Class 10 can be transformative, but also costly. This scheme is specifically for ST students pursuing Class 11 and onwards.

    • Family income up to ₹2.5 lakh = full scholarship
    • Income above ₹2.5 lakh = partial support

It includes tuition, exam, boarding fees, and a maintenance allowance.

Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste (SC) Students

Much like the ST scholarship, this is tailored for SC students continuing studies beyond Class 10.

    • Family income under ₹2.5 lakh qualifies for complete coverage
    • Above that, partial assistance is still available

Support includes tuition fee reimbursement and monthly allowances.

    EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Scholarship

Not everyone who needs help fits into traditional reservation categories. That’s where the EWS scholarship comes in—meant for General category students whose family income is under ₹3 lakh/year.

It supports post-matric education (Class 11 onward) through tuition reimbursement and other educational expenses.

    How to Apply

Applying is simple, but attention to detail is key.

    1. Visit the official portal
    2. Register using your Aadhaar and student details
    3. Upload required documents: income, caste, admission proof, etc.
    4. Submit your application before the official deadline

    Expert Tips from Radical Education

    • A lot of students miss out on scholarships simply because they assume they won’t qualify. But you never really know until you check. Take a few minutes to go through the rules—you might be eligible even if you think you’re not.
    • When it comes to uploading documents, don’t rush. We’ve seen so many applications rejected just because a file was blurry, too big, or in the wrong format. It’s a small step, but it really matters. Think of it as putting your best foot forward.
    • Try not to wait till the last day to apply. Websites slow down, errors creep in, and panic sets in. If you start early, you’ll have enough time to fix anything without the stress.
    • Use your own phone number and email when registering. It sounds simple, but it’s so important, especially when you’re waiting for OTPs or application updates. If it’s your future, the details should be yours too.
    • And most importantly, don’t hesitate to ask for help. Whether it’s a friend, a teacher, or someone at Radical Education, there’s always someone who can guide you. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

The Rajya Sainik Board will verify your documents and send a final list of eligible ES category candidates to OJEE.
Admission will only be given based on this list. If your name isn’t on it, you cannot claim ES category seats — even if you have documents.

    • Get your documents triple-checked– Even small errors like a mismatch in name between your UDID card and NEET admit card can block your claim. Have an expert verify them early.
    • Set reminders and alert your family– These dates are easy to forget amidst post-NEET stress. Set calendar alerts and inform your family about the documentation needs and physical reporting dates.
    • Don’t wait till the last hour– Start gathering documents NOW. Don’t assume you’ll be allowed to upload or visit later. This process has no leniency.

    • SC – 8%
    • ST – 12%
    • PC (PwD) – 5%
    • Ex-Serviceman – 3%
    • Green Card Holder – 5%
    • SGS (State Govt. School Students) – 15% (horizontal)
    • EWS – 10% (when there are vacant seats)

Note:There is no OBC category in Odisha counselling.

Green Card, ES, SGS, and EWS reservations have strict document conditions — even a single lapse or mismatch will render you ineligible.

    NRI/OCI Candidates

NRI applicants are required to provide:

    • Evidence of NRI status (passport/visa)
    • Proof of relationship with the sponsor
    • Embassy certificate issued by the Indian diplomatic mission
    • Notarised affidavit attesting that the sponsor will pay the full course fee

    Expert Tips from Radical Education

    • Begin early and remain prepared- Don’t wait for the last day to register. Chances are that up PDFs or responding back to enquiries may cost you your seat.
    • Track your emails 24×7- Verification problems or any queries will only come by post only. One single missed email means one single missed opportunity.
    • Uploading clean original documents- Blurring or unclear files lead to rejection. Please ensure clear PDFs and proper naming of the PDFs as well.
    • Check the reservation claims double- Every category (such as ES, GC, SGS) needs specific papers. A slight discrepancy — such as a spelling variation in the name on the Green Card — can invalidate your claim.
    • NRIs, be document-ready- NRI seat claims are rigid. Embassy certificates, affidavits, proof of relationship — all need to be well-attested and uploaded within deadlines.
    • Don’t hesitate to seek help- Radical Education‘s counseling experts can assist you in verifying documents, uploading files, or even grasping where you are in merit.

    Government Medical Colleges

    Government colleges like:

    • Bangalore Medical College
    • Mysore Medical College
    • KIMS Hubli
    • Mandya, Hassan, Belgaum, etc.

All charge around ₹64,350 per year, making them the most affordable option for eligible students.

Even ESI medical colleges (in Bangalore & Gulbarga) charge slightly higher at ₹1,09,350, still far more affordable than private colleges.

Download Karnataka MBBS Fee Structure 2025-26

    Private & Minority Medical Colleges

If you’re unable to secure a government seat, private colleges are the next best option — but they come at a significantly higher cost.

    For example:

    • Vydehi Medical College (Bangalore) – ₹12,00,117 (General) to ₹44,11,950 (NRI/Other)
    • The Oxford Medical College – ₹36,11,950
    • MS Ramaiah, KIMS, Navodaya, AJIMS – Range between ₹35–44 Lakhs per year for other/NRI category

Most private colleges maintain a base fee of ₹12 lakhs+ under the general category, and additional quota seats (Q/NRI) go well above ₹27–45 lakhs.

    NRI Students

If you’re applying under the NRI category, be ready to pay between ₹27 Lakhs to ₹45 Lakhs per year, depending on the college:

    • Subbaiah Institute (Shimoga) – ₹29,11,950
    • Oxford, Akash, Vydehi – ₹36–44 Lakhs
    • KIMS Bangalore – ₹43,11,950

    Expert Tips from Radical Education

    • Don’t just look at the fee — look at the ROI A ₹12-lakh private seat may sound high, but it may be worth it if the college has strong clinical exposure, hospital tie-ups, and post-MBBS pathways.
    • Be realistic about rank and choice– If your NEET rank won’t get you a government seat, explore mid-tier private colleges with reasonable facilities and fees. Don’t waste time chasing only top brands.
    • NRI seats need documents — be prepared. If you plan to apply under the NRI category, collect embassy certificates, sponsor affidavits, and passport/visa documents in advance.
    • Set your budget — but stay flexible-Be clear on what your family can afford annually — and remember that there are hidden costs (hostel, materials, exams, travel) on top of the tuition fee.

When a Dream Is Paused: Jamia Hamdard Withdraws 199 Seats Amid CAG Probe

Jamia Hamdard University has withdrawn 150 MBBS and 49 PG medical seats for 2025–26 after a ₹813 crore fund diversion flagged by CAG. Read how this decision impacts NEET aspirants, counselling, and what students can do next.

In the world of Indian medical education, every NEET rank carries a story of long nights, years of dedication, and sacrifices made not just by students but by entire families. For many, Jamia Hamdard University in Delhi represented more than just a college; it was a place of hope. But this week, that hope was quietly and suddenly suspended when the university’s entire allotment of 150 MBBS and 49 postgraduate seats was withdrawn for the 2025–26 academic year.

For students who had secured a place or were in the middle of counselling rounds, this news arrived like a bolt from the blue. Many had just started envisioning their futures—white coats, hospital rounds, and the first steps toward becoming a doctor. Now, all of it stands on shaky ground, and students are left with a growing sense of anxiety and helplessness.

NEET UG 2025 Answer Key Released

The cancellation stems from a financial controversy flagged by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), which pointed to an alarming ₹813 crore diversion of funds. The fallout has been swift, with authorities choosing to halt admissions entirely. While the governance and financial accountability of institutions must certainly be taken seriously, the timing of this decision has thrown hundreds of young lives into uncertainty. Students had no warning, no time to plan a backup, and no clear direction on what comes next.

Counselling is a time-sensitive process. Missing a single window could mean losing a year or settling for a college far below one’s potential or preference. For Delhi-based students, the loss is even more acute—Jamia Hamdard was one of the few options in the city. Some had counted on its minority quota, others had hoped to avoid the crushing fees of private colleges in distant states. Now, all those calculations are unraveling.

What’s most painful is the human cost behind the headlines. Students who had celebrated just days ago after receiving their provisional allotment now find themselves calling helplines, refreshing official websites, and desperately reworking their strategies. There are parents who had just paid seat confirmation fees, only to be told the seat no longer exists. And then there are the students who did everything right, followed every rule, cleared one of India’s toughest exams, and yet are being forced to suffer because of something they had no part in.

Jamia Hamdard has reportedly approached the Delhi High Court seeking a stay on the seat cancellation. Until a decision is made, students can only wait. The Medical Counselling Committee is also expected to revise the seat matrix, but with counselling already underway, many students feel like time is slipping away while clarity remains out of reach.

This incident also reignites a long-standing question: Why do administrative failures almost always fall hardest on students? When institutions falter, shouldn’t systems be in place to prevent that burden from falling on the shoulders of 17- and 18-year-olds who are simply trying to build a future?

For now, students are advised to remain alert to official announcements and prepare alternate options if possible. Reaching out to counselling support services, exploring backup colleges, and staying mentally resilient are the only real steps available in this uncertain moment.

Because ultimately, this isn’t just about numbers or audit reports or institutional reputation. This is about ambition interrupted, about futures placed on hold, and about the cost of a dream delayed—not by failure, but by a system that promised opportunity and then suddenly pulled it away.

Local vs. Unreserved Seats—Who Gets What?

    • 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates

Your local status depends on where you’ve studied or lived during key school years. Carefully check the rules before selecting your category.

    Expert Tips from Radical Education

    • Start early, don’t wait till the last date– We always tell students, technical glitches, last-minute panic, and missing documents are real. The earlier you apply, the more peace of mind you’ll have.
    • Keep both original and scanned copies ready– Don’t wait for the last minute to scan your certificates. Make a folder with PDFs named clearly and keep a copy of each document with you when college reporting begins.
    • Don’t rely on friends or social media advice alone– It’s tempting to go with what you hear in WhatsApp groups. But admission rules change each year. Always refer to the official notification or ask your counsellor directly before assuming anything.
    • Be honest on the form—don’t try to ‘adjust’ details. Every year, some students try to tweak names, addresses, or marks to fit a category. It backfires. The application is cross-verified against original documents. Be truthful—it’s your safest bet.
