Review

The teachers here are amazing—they taught us things you wouldn’t typically learn in other colleges, which made the experience truly unique. Although the campus isn’t very large, it’s efficient, well-designed, and beautifully located in the Doon Valley. The labs and infrastructure are impressive and meet all the academic needs. Even as a bachelor’s student, I was able to secure a placement, and many of my seniors got placed at reputed companies like Enzene Biosciences. The student-to-faculty ratio is great, making it easier for students to get individual attention and guidance for their careers. The faculty members are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs or master’s degrees and at least 10 years of academic experience. They are always approachable for solving problems and helping with skill development. Their teaching approach focuses more on practical, hands-on learning rather than just theoretical methods, which is incredibly effective.

Review

The course curriculum at the college is well-structured, with separate labs for each department, and the faculty is excellent. Depending on your 12th-grade marks or JEE score, you can receive a scholarship ranging from 10-50%. The college places a strong emphasis on academic performance and rewards students accordingly. In the computer science department, much of the learning is theoretical, but the institute has made significant improvements to its study plans across all branches, with excellent faculty support. Although the fees were increased, the college continues to offer detailed and effective study plans. The faculty also engages in organizing various activities, including games and tech events, involving both senior and junior students. I had a great experience living in the hostel for a year. Overall, the college provides quality education at an affordable cost and ensures that all essential facilities are available to support students.

The location of my university is amazing, situated in the woods, providing the perfect peaceful environment for studying. The snack areas and café serve really good food, adding to the overall experience. I absolutely love the campus—it’s beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, making it a great place to relax and focus. My time here has been awesome, and I’ve learned so much. The bond I share with my roommate is unforgettable, and even though he’s in a different branch now, we’re still close. I’ve also made some really great friends during my time here. Review

The campuses in Dehradun, Bhimtal, and Haldwani are all beautiful, and students can choose the campus that best suits their preferences. Grafest, the college festival, is one of the best and most exciting events in Dehradun. The teachers here are highly qualified, and their teaching methods are excellent. The location of the college is great, with all necessary facilities easily accessible. As a day scholar, I find the bus service very convenient. The cafeteria is also fantastic, offering delicious food. The campus security is excellent, and with CCTV cameras in all classrooms, it’s reassuring to know that if you lose something, it will be safe and no one will take it.

I really enjoy the cafeteria at our college, which serves delicious food. The support I received from my teachers was amazing—they really helped me with my studies. As a student, I’ve had a great experience at this college. They offer loans to support students financially, along with scholarships specifically for ST students and those from Jammu, which is really commendable. The extracurricular activities are decent and depend on the skills and interests of the students. There are opportunities for these activities, but I feel they could expand the facilities, especially since the student population has grown. The labs are very useful for practical learning, though they could benefit from being upgraded to accommodate more students. One of the highlights is the annual sports meet, which encourages students who are passionate about sports. The college provides well-equipped practical labs for every subject, and the classrooms are in excellent condition. Overall, I genuinely believe this college is one of the best, thanks to its quality education, supportive environment, and the availability of comprehensive study materials.

1. The library facilities at IIT Roorkee are exceptional, with a 24/7 library that lets me study whenever I want. Campus life is vibrant and truly one of the highlights here. The sports facilities are excellent, with skilled coaches for every sport imaginable. Our hostels, called “bhawans,” are well-maintained and comfortable. The coding and tech culture is thriving, supported by a range of active and impressive tech clubs. I’ve also found a strong bond between juniors and seniors, making for a collaborative and supportive environment.

2. The faculty is outstanding, and I’m constantly learning from them. IIT Roorkee also provides fantastic internship opportunities; students are securing internships that offer stipends of 4-5 lakhs, allowing them to gain valuable, enjoyable experiences. I’m excited that I, too, will be eligible for internships through the college. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience here. From academics and sports to all the other facilities, IIT Roorkee has truly made these four years enjoyable and fulfilling.
