Introduction <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The DNB Psychiatry<\/a><\/strong> is said to be a prestigious postgraduate medical qualification in India which is equal to the Doctor of Medicine degree in Psychiatry provided by Indian universities. It is awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

    • One\u00a0 must hold a recognized MBBS degree from an institution approved by the NMC or the former Medical Council of India.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A one-year compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must have permanent registration with either the State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must have qualified the NEET-PG entrance exam to be eligible for postgraduate admission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must qualify the NEET-PG entrance exam and be admitted through centralized counseling.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
