Introduction 

MS ENT refers to Master of Surgery in Ear, Nose, and Throat and is also known as Otolaryngology.  It is known to be a specialized, three-year postgraduate medical degree program designed for doctors who want to become experts in the medical and surgical management of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat.

The MS ENT program provides training like theoretical knowledge, clinical experience, and surgical practice for training specialists capable of diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions.

The curriculum of the course covers:

  • Otology focusing on ear disorders.
  • Rhinology works on nasal and sinus conditions.
  • Laryngology means specializing in throat conditions.
  • Head and Neck Surgery involves in surgical management of tumors and complex diseases in the head and neck.
  • Pediatric Otolaryngology: means addressing ENT conditions in children. 

Eligibility 

  •  A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), now the National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Completion of a one-year compulsory rotating internship after your MBBS degree.
  • Permanent registration with the MCI or a state medical council.
  • A valid score in a postgraduate entrance exam.
