Big Relief for Ayurveda Aspirants: NCISM Eases Eligibility Criteria for UG Admissions 2025

In a major move that will bring hope to many NEET UG 2025 aspirants, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has officially announced a relaxation in the eligibility criteria for admission into undergraduate Ayurveda courses.

This update, dated 11th July 2025, comes as a significant change to the admission process, and it’s already being welcomed by students, educators, and AYUSH professionals alike.

    What Has Changed?

Previously, candidates were required to meet minimum percentage marks in their 10+2 examinations (as per Regulation 5(1)(a) of the 2022 regulations). This often created an added layer of stress and disqualified many otherwise passionate and eligible students.

However, with this new announcement, the minimum percentage marks requirement has been officially withdrawn.
